December 2020 Market

We hope to be able to go ahead with the market as usual this month. So far the changes to Covid guidelines haven’t affected the market but further changes might – so please keep an eye out for updates either on this site or on Twitter, Facebook and posters around Wivenhoe.

This outdoors-only event features popular food and farm produce stalls including Norwegian Bakers, Wigborough Traditional Meats, Mena’s Indian Banquet, Bolivian Pastries and Wild Taste. Sharpening Solutions will be there to revive your gardening and kitchen tools. Eco Hug and Goat in a Soap will be offering household essentials and a bit of luxury. Bring your empty containers to the Refills stall for cleaning/laundry liquids, handwash/shampoo etc. Also for the first time in a long time we are going to have a live music courtesy of local band, “band of fools” who will be rounding up the day.

Please observe social distancing and the one-way system, and don’t attend/congregate in groups of more than six. Hand sanitiser will be available. Thank you for your cooperation in helping keep the market safe.
